Engine
Mechanically, the i8 retains its innovative plug-in hybrid setup—Turbocharged 1.5L I3 paired w/ an electric motor for 357 Hp & 420 Lb-Ft—but the Pure Impulse World package enhances the driving experience through optimized lighting, upgraded materials, and visual refinement rather than major mechanical changes. The 20-inch wheels included in the package improve the stance and sharpen steering response without compromising the i8’s trademark efficiency. The Leather Engine Cover adds a more upscale finish to the hybrid drivetrain’s presentation, while the i8’s AWD hybrid layout (electric front, gas rear) continues to deliver a uniquely balanced, torque-rich driving feel.
